Artist, painter and sculptor, Peter died in Montreal March 30, 2010 in his 90th year. He was born in Leipzig Germany and in the early 1950’s made Montreal his home. He will be sadly missed by his half-sister Susanne Benisch, his half-brother Roland Petzoldt and many friends in Montreal and around the world. A commemorative ceremony will be held at the AARON funeral home, 1031 St. Denis St., Montreal, on April 25 at 2 PM, with a lively reception, à la Flinsch, to follow. at Gotha, 1651 Amherst Street, at 4.00 PM.

Est décédé à Montréal le 30 mars 2010, l’artiste-peintre et sculpteur Peter Flinsch, à l’âge de 89 ans. Né à Leipzig, en Allemagne, il vivait à Montréal depuis le début des années 1950. Outre sa demi-sœur Susanne Benisch et son demi-frère Roland Petzoldt, il laisse dans le deuil de nombreux amis dans plusieurs pays. Une cérémonie commémorative aura lieu à la maison funéraire AARON, 1031 rue St-Denis, Montréal, le dimanche 25 avril à 14.00 hres., suivie d’un réception comme Peter l’aurait aimé, au Gotha, 1641 rue Amherst, à 16.00 hres.
